You’ll Learn:
-Daily activities to support comfort in pregnancy & labor
-Movement and breath to help labor flow more smoothly
-How your baby’s position shapes the birth journey
This class is for the expectant parent and their birth partner. It is ideal to take this class any time after 20 weeks of pregnancy.
The Spinning Babies® class is a great addition to any Childbirth Education class. Spinning Babies® can help you whether this is your first baby or not. These classes offer great hands-on training and will assist you whether you plan to have an unmedicated birth or an epidural.
Creating space for the baby to rotate and engage allows for optimal positioning and may improve success if planning for a vaginal birth. The techniques taught in this class have also been shown to help rotate breech and sideways babies without the need for an external cephalic version.
These classes should be attended by anyone who is a TOLAC or VBAC (trial of labor or vaginal birth after cesarean section), if their baby is breech or sideways after 32 weeks, or anyone hoping for a non-medicated birth.
ALL birth plans welcome!

While you can learn most of the activities solo, it is helpful to have someone that can support you in doing the activities while pregnant and during labor. We highly suggest bringing a support partner whether that be your partner, parent, friend or sibling.
The childbirth prep class can be taken anytime between 20 weeks and delivery, however, the sooner you have the activities and information the more beneficial it will be. We advice taking the class between 20 and 34 weeks.
